Welcome to Reiki Second Degree - and to something that will genuinely change the way you live, love, and care for the people and places that matter most to you.
I love Second Degree Reiki!! To be able to send Reiki anywhere, to anyone (including myself), was pure magic to me. When I first heard you could do this, I was very suspicious!! Does this work? How will I know? So I experimented with sending Reiki for thousands of hours, and proved to myself over and over that it works. Always, even on myself!
It's an absolute godsend to be able to send Reiki to myself for a more beautiful day, or if I have pain or a little one needs faster healing, or I'm concerned about a friend's or family member's health, whether they live near or far. My advanced Reiki 3rd Degree and Master practitioners have used Distant Reiki in many areas of their work and businesses, too.
To send Distant Reiki the way I've learnt to use and teach it, you need to learn how to use the Reiki symbols, and to work with integrity. I've developed six beautiful and immediately effective ways for my new Second Degree students to use.
Second Degree Reiki is an immensely practical, compassionate and very grounded way of reaching out to others, in all walks of life. Animals and pets love Distant Reiki just as much as we humans - they respond quickly to all forms of Reiki!
And I love teaching Reiki Second Degree - it's an easy, empowering, super-useful expansion of your hands-on Reiki practice, that you can take anywhere and use for a lifetime! So awesome!!

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to have completed Reiki First Degree before attending?
Yes. Reiki Second Degree builds directly on your First Degree Class. If you completed First Degree with another teacher, please get in touch and we can discuss whether you're ready for Second Degree.
How is Yolanda's teaching different from other Reiki teachers?
Over many years of teaching and practice, Yolanda has developed uniquely expanded ways of working with the Reiki symbols that go beyond what most traditional courses offer. Her approach is practical, grounded, and immediately usable, with techniques specifically developed to bring more harmony, balance and happiness into your relationships, your home, and your everyday life.
What will I be able to do after completing Second Degree?

Where is the class held?
Yolanda Cholmondeley- Smith's Classes are held in Cambridge, Waikato, New Zealand - a beautiful, leafy town with great cafés nearby. Full address details are confirmed with your booking.
Classes are nurturing, fun, thorough, detailed and totally focused on supporting you on your Reiki journey. Smaller numbers mean a lot more time for hands-on practice in Class. Just know that everything Yolanda teaches, and the way she teaches it, is to empower you on your Reiki Journey through life.
How many people are in each class?
Yolanda holds small, boutique classes from her home in Cambridge to ensure every student receives plenty of personal attention, practice time, and support. At the moment, spaces are always limited to 3-4 students per Class.
What is the investment for Reiki Second Degree?
The course investment is NZ$625, which includes your Reiki Second Degree Manual, your Certificate, and a free, half-day Reiki Review. It also includes free Professional Development Days, free Reiki Share Groups, and 50% off 1-hour Reiki Treatments with Yolanda.
