From Arjava

"Besides going through the curriculum and teaching the participants how to order their materials from the Institute, the main objective of Shihan Kaku training is how to give the Reiju.

The students will also learn how to perform the Reiki Kokan, the candle ritual and some other goodies that we don't share before your training"

Your traditional Shihankaku, Level 1 Reiki requirements with Arjava

Requirements for further Training

We require everyone to begin with Shoden, regardless of their previous Reiki Training, except for those who have taken Jikiden Reiki Classes previously. This is not out of disrespect, but because the teaching is very different from other schools, and we would like every one of our Reiki students to have the same basic knowledge.

Shihan Kaku Training, 15-23 November 2026

To become a Shihan Kaku, Level 1 teacher, it is required to document at least 150 hours of treatments on at least 25 different clients after at least twelve months of the initial training.

Then the Shoden and Okuden class must be reviewed once, before one can take the Shihan Kaku Training.
